Our Mentor Program is designed to introduce and strengthen leadership abilities in our local youth. The members go through an application process which includes a personal interview and terms of an agreement. The applicants accepted into the program are given extra responsibilities and those that honor their agreements are acknowledged with level advancement and/or rewards. Part of the program involves mentoring our middle school membership. This involves brainstorming, planning and implementing programs. There are 3 tiers of mentorship with varying levels of commitment required.
The Mentor program is a unique opportunity for young Kingswood Youth Center high school members to cultivate both self confidence and develop leadership qualities which will serve them throughout their adult lives.
