Donations
The Kingswood Youth Center is an independent non-profit organization that relies on grants and donations each year in order to operate and expand its service to the youth of the community. The center has been located in a building owned by Huggins Hospital for the past 9 years. The hospital’s expansion project has made in necessary for the youth center to relocate. In January of 2008 a new home site was purchased for the facility.
We currently are engaged in a Capital Campaign to design and construct a new facility on the 11 acre site. We are attempting to raise a total of $600,000 to complete our goals. At this time, we are 40% there!
With the help of many organizations such as The United Way, New Hampshire Charitable, Wolfeboro Fund, Mariott Foundation and many others, we are able to operate each year and bring valuable afterschool programs to the community. Also, each year many individuals recognize the Kingswood Youth Center with donations of time and money to help us succeed in our mission. No donation is ever too small.
